Trying to find information in English

I’ve been checking out some of the English webpages of Oulu and Pohde*. Here are examples of the feedback I gave to them.

To Oulu city:

”The English-language instructions for swimming pools state that ’filming’ in the changing room is prohibited. Is this a translation error and should there also be a ban on taking photos, as on the Finnish page (kuvaaminen)? Personally, I think that the use of mobile phones in changing rooms should be completely banned, as there are children naked in them without an adult supervisor.”

To Pohde;

”Is there a page for immigrants in languages other than Finnish?

When you click on ”For Immigrants” on the Pohde English homepage, the link takes you to a page in Finnish about immigrant services. These pages should be in the languages most spoken by immigrants, e.g. English, Ukrainian, Arabic.”

Any comments? What are your experiences in finding info in other languages than Finnish?

*Pohde is the Wellbeing County of Northern Ostrobotnia, offering public social and healthcare, and emergency services.
